Clean Cut Kid have revealed their latest slice of wholly infectious pop-rock in the form of 'We Used To Be In Love'. The Liverpool quartet have been quietly making a name for themselves since they appeared with 'Vitamin C' just over a year ago now and, following a string of equally moreish releases and increasingly impressive live performances, the four are going from strength to strength. This latest cut is arguably their most smile-inducing to date, recalling Fleetwood Mac with its euphoric, yet heartbreaking theme, as front-man Mike Halls pines about a lost love saying, "One of the most heart shattering things about breaking up with someone is how this person, who used to be at the centre of your whole universe, is suddenly no more a part of your life than a distant stranger." Something tells us Clean Cut Kid aren't set to be strangers of the mainstream much longer. -G.O'B
